These terms apply to everyone who uses XpertMedico (the website, apps and software): patients and customers, medical stores, pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, doctors and labs. By using XpertMedico you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the other policies linked in the footer.
1.What XpertMedico is
XpertMedico is a directory and software platform. We are not a party to any payment, consultation, test or sale between you and any pharmacy, hospital, clinic, doctor or lab. Provider information is self-declared or from public sources (source and date shown); verify before relying on it. XpertMedico is not responsible for medical advice, outcomes, fees or refunds. In an emergency call 1122/115.
The one exception is XpertMedico Shop: orders placed in the Shop are sold and delivered by the XpertMedico Shop pharmacy under the Online pharmacy terms, Shipping policy and Returns and refunds policy.
XpertMedico does not provide medical care. Medical stores and providers use our software to run their own business and remain fully responsible for it.
2.No responsibility for payments or dealings
XpertMedico has no responsibility for any payment, collection of money or discussion between you and any pharmacy, hospital, clinic, doctor or lab, whether it happens on XpertMedico, by phone, on WhatsApp or in person. Provider data (names, qualifications, licences, fees, prices, timings) is self-declared by the provider or taken from public sources; you must verify it yourself before relying on it.
Bookings and payments for appointments, consultations and tests are made directly with the provider. Fees, advances, refunds, discounts and disputes follow the provider's own policy and are strictly between you and the provider.
3.Estimated prices
Estimated prices are general market ranges for information only. They are not quotes or offers from this provider and may differ. XpertMedico does not guarantee any price; confirm directly with the provider before visiting or paying. A price is the provider's own only when it is marked "Confirmed"; bookings only ever use a confirmed fee.
4.Information is provided by stores and providers
Prices, stock, fees, timings and qualifications are entered by each store or provider, or taken from public sources (for example Google Places or OpenStreetMap) with the source and date shown, and can change at any time. Records marked "Unverified" have not been claimed by the provider. Call to confirm before you travel or pay.
5.Not medical advice
Nothing on XpertMedico is medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose. The AI assistant gives general information only. It may suggest a speciality, a test or an over-the-counter product, but it never gives a diagnosis, a dose or a prescription-only medicine, and it can be wrong. If it detects warning signs it tells you to call 1122 or 115. Always consult a registered doctor. Prescription-only medicines are supplied only against a valid prescription checked by a pharmacist, and controlled drugs are never sold or prescribed through XpertMedico. See the Medical Disclaimer.
6.Accounts, family members and minors
- Give your real name and contact details. Keep your login and one-time codes private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- A person under 18 may use XpertMedico only through a parent or legal guardian, who books, consents and receives reports on their behalf.
- Do not post false, abusive or misleading reviews or messages. See the Chat and Review Policy.
7.Acceptable use
Do not misuse XpertMedico: no scraping, fake listings, impersonation, attempts to access other people's data, malware, or use for any unlawful purpose, including offences under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016. We may suspend accounts that break these terms and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
8.Providers
Providers must hold valid PMDC registration, provincial Healthcare Commission registration or licence, drug sale licence and any other permission their work requires, and must keep their listing accurate. They are responsible for their own patient records, prescriptions, reports and compliance. XpertMedico may suspend a listing that is false or unlicensed. Paid plans follow the Store and Provider Subscription Terms.
9.Subscriptions and advertising: no cancellation after payment
This applies to paid plans for medical stores and pharmacies, packages for hospitals, clinics, labs and doctors, and advertising purchases.
- Before payment, an invoice can simply be left unpaid. It expires and nothing is owed.
- Once an invoice is paid and the plan, package or ad is active, it cannot be cancelled and no refund is given for the remaining period.
- You may choose a different plan or stop renewing for the next period. An ad can be paused or edited on request; a new design is reviewed again before it shows.
- If XpertMedico rejects an ad, or cannot provide a paid plan or run a paid ad, the unused period is credited to your account or refunded.
- This does not limit any right you have under the laws of Pakistan that cannot be waived.
10.Electronic records and signatures
You agree that one-time codes, clicks to accept, electronic invoices and e-signed prescriptions on XpertMedico are valid electronic records and signatures under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002.
11.Emergencies
XpertMedico is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 1122 (Rescue) or 115 (Edhi), or go to the nearest hospital.
12.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, XpertMedico is not liable for any medicine, test, consultation, treatment, payment or outcome arising between users and providers, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Pakistani law, including the provincial consumer protection laws.
13.Changes, governing law and courts
We may update these terms; the version number and date are shown at the top, and important changes are announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Karachi have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to complain to a consumer court or regulator.
