Online pharmacy terms

Effective date: 22 October 2026.

These terms apply when you buy from XpertMedico Shop, an online pharmacy operated under a valid drug sale licence. They add to our general Terms of Use. Unlike the rest of XpertMedico, where we are only a directory, XpertMedico Shop is the seller of the items you order.

1.Licence

Our drug sale licence and the details of the supervising pharmacist are kept on record and are provided on request to the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, provincial drug inspectors and other authorities.

2.Every order is subject to approval

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted only when we confirm it.
• We may decline or cancel an order, for example when an item is out of stock, a price was shown in error, the prescription is not valid, or we suspect misuse. Any payment is refunded in full.

3.Prescription medicines

• Prescription-only medicines are supplied only against a valid prescription, as required by the Drugs Act 1976 and DRAP rules.
• A qualified pharmacist checks every prescription before the order is packed, and every review is recorded.
• The pharmacist will not accept a prescription that is illegible, older than 30 days, has no doctor's name and PMDC registration, or is for a different patient. The pharmacist may call you or your doctor.
• By uploading a prescription you confirm it is genuine, yours or your dependant's, and that you agree to the pharmacist reviewing it.
• No payment is taken for prescription items before the prescription is approved.

4.Medicines we never sell online

• Controlled medicines (narcotic, psychotropic and other drugs controlled under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 and drug laws) are never sold on XpertMedico Shop, with or without a prescription.
• Some items, such as cold-chain medicines, may be unavailable for delivery.

5.Use under medical supervision

• Use medicines only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist, and read the leaflet.
• Product information on the site is general information and not medical advice, a diagnosis or a dose. The AI assistant does not give dosing, diagnosis or substitution advice.
• In an emergency call 1122 or 115, or go to the nearest hospital.

6.Prices

• Prices are in Pakistani rupees and are never above the DRAP maximum retail price.
• The price, delivery charge and any fees are confirmed at checkout and rechecked when you place the order. If anything changed, we show you the new total first.

7.Payment

• Cash on delivery: confirmed with a one-time code sent to your email.
• Bank transfer, EasyPaisa or JazzCash: upload the payment proof; the order is processed after we confirm the payment.

8.Your information

Prescriptions and payment proofs are stored privately and are seen only by our pharmacy and support staff. See our Privacy Policy.

9.Returns, delivery and complaints

Delivery usually takes 5–7 working days; see the Shipping policy. Only defective, wrong or expired items can be returned; see the Returns and refunds policy. For complaints, reach us through the Contact page. You may also complain to the consumer court or the drug authorities.
