XpertMedico helps you find medicines, pharmacies, doctors, hospitals, clinics and labs. Information on XpertMedico is general information only and is not medical advice.

1.Always ask a doctor

• Consult a registered doctor before starting, stopping or changing any medicine, and read the leaflet.
• Medicine information, articles and product pages are general and may not apply to you.
• Doctors, labs and pharmacies listed on XpertMedico are independent and responsible for their own advice, tests and products.

2.The AI assistant

The AI assistant gives general information only. It may suggest a speciality, a test or an over-the-counter product, but it never gives a diagnosis, a dose or a prescription-only medicine, and it can be wrong. If it detects warning signs it tells you to call 1122 or 115. Do not rely on it for medical decisions.

3.Prescriptions

• Prescription-only medicines are supplied only against a valid prescription, as required by the Drugs Act 1976 and DRAP rules, and a pharmacist checks every prescription.
• E-prescriptions are e-signed by the doctor with a personal PIN and carry the doctor's PMDC number. Where XpertMedico has not yet checked the PMDC number, the prescription shows "PMDC verification pending".
• Controlled drugs (narcotic, psychotropic and other drugs controlled under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 and drug laws) are never sold on XpertMedico and never prescribed through telemedicine.

4.Lab reports

Lab reports are issued by the lab, which is responsible for the results. Reports open through a private link protected by a one-time code. Critical results are communicated by the lab to you or your doctor according to laboratory standards. Discuss every report with your doctor.

5.Emergencies

XpertMedico is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 1122 (Rescue) or 115 (Edhi), or go to the nearest hospital.
