Effective date: 22 October 2026.
These terms apply to online (video, audio or chat) consultations booked through XpertMedico, and to e-prescriptions issued on XpertMedico.
1.Who provides the consultation
The consultation is provided only by the doctor, who is responsible for the advice, prescription and follow-up and must follow the PM&DC Act 2020, PMDC guidance and the rules of the provincial Healthcare Commission. XpertMedico provides the booking and software only and is not a party to the consultation.
2.Booking and payment
Booking and payment are made directly with the doctor or their clinic. Fees, cancellations and refunds follow the provider's own policy.
XpertMedico has no responsibility for any payment, collection of money or discussion between you and any pharmacy, hospital, clinic, doctor or lab, whether it happens on XpertMedico, by phone, on WhatsApp or in person. Provider data (names, qualifications, licences, fees, prices, timings) is self-declared by the provider or taken from public sources; you must verify it yourself before relying on it.
3.Consent
Before your first online consultation you are asked to consent to telemedicine, and your consent is recorded. You understand its limits: the doctor cannot examine you physically and may ask you to visit in person or get tests. The doctor may keep notes of the consultation in your record. You can withdraw consent at /account/privacy.
4.Minors
A patient under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the whole consultation, and the guardian gives consent.
5.E-prescriptions
- The doctor e-signs the prescription with a personal PIN, and it carries the doctor's PMDC number and stamp. If XpertMedico has not yet verified the PMDC number, it shows "PMDC verification pending".
- Every e-prescription must be checked by a pharmacist before medicines are dispensed. A pharmacy may refuse a prescription it cannot verify.
- Controlled drugs (narcotic, psychotropic and other scheduled controlled substances) are never prescribed through telemedicine on XpertMedico.
6.Not for emergencies
Do not use telemedicine for chest pain, breathing difficulty, severe bleeding, unconsciousness, stroke signs or other emergencies. XpertMedico is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 1122 (Rescue) or 115 (Edhi), or go to the nearest hospital.
7.Privacy
Consultation data is health data and is handled under our Privacy Policy. You can request a copy or deletion at /account/privacy.
